Boarding Requirements

We want all of our furry guests to remain healthy during their stay. Please be sure that your pet is up to date on the following;

Dogs:

  • DA2PPV(distemper) vaccination or DA2PPV titer
  • RABIES vaccination
  • Oral/intranasal BORDETELLA (kennel cough) vaccination within the last 6 months but no sooner than 14 days prior to boarding -***If bordetella has been given within 14 days of boarding, your dog will be boarded in isolation for the remainder of the 14 days and will then be moved to their reserved suite
  • Bivalent INFLUENZA (CIV) vaccination – The bivalent vaccine helps protect against both the H3N2 and H3N8 strains of canine influenza
  • Negative FECAL performed w/in the past 6 months – Intestinal parasites are highly transmissible and difficult to eradicate from the environment. Any dog being treated for these parasites will be boarded in isolation until one of our staff doctors deems it safe for his or her return to our boarding suites
  • Flea and tick PREVENTATIVE (topical within the past 3 weeks, oral within the past 4 weeks) Flea/tick baths are NOT preventatives

Cats:

  • FVRCP (distemper) vaccination
  • RABIES vaccination
  • Negative FECAL within the past 6 months
  • Flea and tick PREVENTATIVE within the past 3 weeks. Flea/tick baths are NOT preventatives
